The geographical indication is a name that indicates the geographical origin of the products. In order to enjoy legal protection, it must be registered. 

The services we provide in the field of geographical indications are:

• Representation before the Bulgarian Patent Office – in the proceedings for registration of geographical indications for products that are not agricultural or food, as well as in proceedings for cancellation of registration. 
• Representation before the Ministry of Agriculture and Food regarding: – the registration of foods with a traditional specific character for the EU market; – the registration of foods with protected geographical indications in the European Food Commission.
• Consultations and assistance for registration of a geographical indication abroad through our partners at the local level.
• Representation before the World Intellectual Property Organization in the procedure for registration of designations of origin under the Lisbon Agreement for the Protection of Designations of Origin and their International Registration.
• Representation before the competent court in case of violations of geographical indications, designations of origin and foods of traditional specific nature.
